Kailan from bloody/bath was writing their first EP and approached me to add some synthesisers to the tracks. The influences for this EP were darkwave, post-punk and atmospheric new wave. I played a lot with distortion and delays to create rumbles and screams to undulate behind the four-piece and give the feeling of foreboding. The themes were of love and loss, so used a mixture of delicate bells and expansive pads to add tension. A standout track would be 'Slow Death' in which I used spring reverbs, phasers and delays to create a haunting synth line.
